Meet Cyril and Heather at Tsam Tsam, a community ecolodge and fantastic destination for ecotourism. Its diverse landscapes and unique wildlife make it an ideal place for nature lovers. Cyril and Heather, through the NGO OELO, work with local communities for the practice of sustainable artisanal fishing for the preservation of Lake Oguemoué and the sustainable development of the villages located around the lake.

Arrive at Libreville
Rent a 4x4 type vehicle or take a public bus transport for a journey of approximately 4 hours toward the town of Lambaréné, the main population center of economic activity in the region.

Museum Albert Schweitzer in Lambaréné:
During your stay in Tsam Tsam, you can spend a night in the town of Lambaréné, where you may visit the historical museum of Dr Albert Schweitzer in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital.
️Mission SINDARA:
Created in 1971, and located between Lambaréné and Fagoumou, precisely at 1h40 minutes from Lambaréné, SINDARA MISSION is a former slave market. The central building with arcades, characteristic of Spanish architecture, will be built in the middle of the 20th century. It was abandoned towards the end of the 1970s, for 20 years, before being re-inverted at the beginning of 2000, by volunteers. Today, the SINDARA mission houses a college with a boarding school for boys.
Museum Albert Schweitzer in Lambaréné:
During your stay in Tsam Tsam, you can spend a night in the town of Lambaréné, where you may visit the historical museum of Dr Albert Schweitzer in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital.

On day 1, Start with a Boat tour of Ogooué river and chain of lakes to Lake Oguemoué from 9h30 am to 11h30 am where you will t’hace the opportunity to see different kind of birds, snakes, hippopotamus, and crocodiles, and at 12 am take your lunch. At 2 pm, visit Tsam Tsam fishing village where you will meet local indigenous communities who are engaged in sustainable artisanal fishing activities, at 4 pm have a short afternoon hike, and your diner of traditional foods made by local women at 6 pm..
On day 2, In morning at 7 am after your breakfast, hiking to savanna during 3 to 4 hours where you will have the opportunity to see wildlife like elephants, and others. 1 pm is the break time where you will have your lunch, at 2pm embarking for a tour around Ogoumoué Lake on a traditional canoe, and at 4 pm visiting the Tsam Tsam fishing village and have hhf opportunity to practice fishing activities and learn about OELO’s sustainable fishing education program. After your diner at 6 pm, you will have a night boat safari experience depending on weather.
On day 3, After your breakfast at 7 am, pack up camp and head back to Lambaréné, arriving in Lambaréné at 10 am, directly embarking back to Libreville during 4 hours road drive by 4x4.
